Essay Question: Please tell us in your own words: what does the right to keep and bear arms mean to you?
To me it means my family and I's protection is in my hands. It means I have the capability to shield myself and others and ward off foreign and domestic threats. When I hear and speak of the right to keep and bear arms I feel responsidble for protecting it in it's entirety. To me it means more than safeguarding hunting rifles, target and sport shooting guns, and firearms for self protection. To me it is a neccessary interest that should be valued by all Americans.
| Additional Comments: I am an avid hunter and outdoors woman. I grew up respecting firearms and am teaching my son the same values. We can't lose this right as it will cost us more than we know.
